Hello Elena,
My name is Ian Mackay. I live in Scotland in a city called Dundee. It is on the east coast of Scotland and about 200,000 people live there. I’m 35 years old and up to now have been focusing on developing my career.
I saw your profile on www.my-love-story.co.uk and although I now only know very little about you, I already know that I would like to find out more. Of course I could look for someone closer to home, but I find the idea of finding love in Russia much more exciting. Moreover I doubt that I could find anyone as pretty as you in my hometown.
I work in the oil industry and have been quite successful. I live in a nice, comfortable house in a pleasant part of town. However to make my happiness complete, I really would like to find someone to share my life. I have never been married and I have no children, but I would very much like to have children in the future.
When I have free-time I like to read, watch movies and socialise with friends. I am interested in hill-walking and during my holidays I love to travel and visit interesting places. Of course all of these activities would be much more fun if they could be shared with someone I love.

What sort of photo you should send
Let us remind you once more that you when you send your first letter you should send at least 2 photos. These photos will form the initial impression which the lady will have of you before reading your first letter. And of course they must be very good as this first impression is of the utmost importance. Your photos should be of good quality, clear and recent. You should look kind, cheerful and self-confident. It might be better if you were wearing a suit, shirt and tie in these first photos, but good pictures in casual clothes would be fine as well. You should be alone in the photos. If you would like to impress her with your outstanding physique, you can do it later. Only she might think it a little strange if the first photo she saw showed you wearing swimming trunks!! Do not wear sunglasses in these pictures.
